Tipbet Sports Review
Tipbet Summary
Tipbet Sports is new to the online betting scene, but has a strong track record in the gambling world thanks to over 1,000 betting shops throughout Europe. The company is licensed and headquartered in Malta, and is the official betting partner of German Bundesliga clubs Bayer Leverkusen and Fortuna Dusseldorf.
Tipbet states on its website that it is a young and ambitious company, dedicated to sports betting. However, it also has vast experience in the sector and the financial clout to back up its ambition, with an excellent online and mobile betting product. An offering of over 50,000 events, and 10,000 live events each and every month, Tipbet has a wide range of sports betting markets and prides itself on competitive odds across the board.
So how does it measure up in comparison to the big players in the online gambling scene? And what makes it stand out from the crowd? Let’s drill down into the details and find out whether this should be one of your ‘must have’ betting accounts.

Welcome Bonuses
We’ll start with the welcome bonus, where Tipbet sports has created a three-pronged approach to suit all budgets. A first-deposit bonus of €100 is available to all new customers, but the playthrough amount for each of the three offers varies depending on how much you put into your new account. Here’s how it works:
- 200% welcome bonus up to €100 (playthrough x 15)
- 100% welcome bonus up to €100 (playthrough x 12)
- 50% welcome bonus up to €100 (playthrough x 8)
This is a great way to make the bonus accessible to all punters. If you select option 1 you only need to deposit €50 to earn the full bonus amount, but you will have to playthrough both deposit and bonus 15 times before bonus funds can be withdraw.
Alternatively if you select option 3, you would need to deposit €200 to earn the full bonus, but only have to playthrough the deposit and bonus 8 times before withdrawing bonus funds.
Design and Usability
The area where Tipbet Sports really stands out is in the stylish website design. The site’s standard colours are a dark grey background with white writing and red trim. But for those who prefer a lighter screen, there is a ‘Light Theme’ button to the top left of the site which switches the display to a white background with black writing. This is a really nice touch, but the quality doesn’t end there.
Every sport is easily accessible from the left-hand menu, and there are options to show events over the next 3 hours, 24 hours, 3 days or all events. It’s very easy to navigate to your favourite sports and events, and the site runs very quickly and smoothly.
Mobile users will be pleased to discover there are optimised versions of the website for iPhone and iPad, Windows phones and Android phones – each of which has been just as well produced. It’s clear that Tipbet has put a great deal of effort into an intuitive interface, and it should serve them well as they try to gain market space.
They’ve also put a great deal of effort into statistics and information, with a section dedicated to results of every event across all sports. There’s a highly detailed statistics area too, which offers all the pre-match information you need to make your selections. Most events have detailed in-match graphics with stats and an animated display so you can follow the action as it unfolds. The only drawback we can see is that no live streaming is available on the site, but it comprehensively ticks every other box.
Markets and Prices
This up-and-coming online bookie covers all of the most popular sports, including soccer, tennis, basketball, American football, rugby and cricket, but one notable omission is the absence of any horse racing. Obviously this will put off some punters who like to place bets on the horses, but coverage of the most popular sports is thorough. The big four football leagues – England, Germany, Spain and Italy – are very well covered with at least 4-5 divisions in each country ready to bet on.
Some bookmakers have well over 100 different markets on each football match, and although Tipbet falls a little short of that with around 62 markets (on the English Championship matches we checked), it is very competitive as far as odds are concerned. Some matches in the top divisions have been known to have a 96% overround, which equates to excellent value.
Deposits and Customer Service
There are a number of deposit methods which you can use to place funds in a Tipbet account, listed to the side of this review. It’s a new system for the company, which in the past has issued customers with a membership card to keep track of their transactions and history. These member cards are still valid, and can be used at any of Tipbet’s betting shops or terminals, as well as online or on mobile. Winnings are paid directly back to the card and withdrawn in any of the company’s betting locations.
However, with the introduction of the website, customers are no longer required to use a membership card, and you are able to deposit and withdraw directly to your preferred payment method. There are no fees for deposits, and the majority of withdrawals (including VISA and Mastercard) are processed instantly.
Customer service is 24 hours a day, which is pleasing, but unfortunately it is only via email or contact form through the website. Customer services have developed a reputation for answering queries incredibly quickly, but in this day and age we would still like to see both live chat and phone support.
Our Impressions
Overall this is an excellent bookie which combines a very sleek website and mobile experience, with competitive odds and a wide range of popular sports. The welcome bonus is very good in comparison to many bookmakers, and the three options means you can tailor the offer to suit your budget. As mentioned, the negatives include no horse racing and no live chat, but these are easily outweighed by the benefits.
If you don’t have a Tipbet account set up already, you really should add this to your list of the best bookies.
