Design and Usability

In terms of design, the bookmaker is fast, intuitive and easy to navigate. The website features a dark grey and yellow colour scheme, which has a stylish look about it. It is mobile optimised so the desktop and mobile sites both have the same classy look and characteristics.

The home page immediately shows live and upcoming events, as well as the top five current events for betting. When you click on ‘Sports Betting’ along the permanent menu bar at the top of the page, you are taken to the main section where you have a choice of sports. This is where LV BET Sports becomes very enjoyable to use.

There is a filter option for the next hour, 3 hours, or 24 hours, and each sport is clearly listed with a clickable button to access that section. There are over 50 different sports to choose from on the site, including the growing market of eSports, as well as niche events like NASCAR, Sumo and Biathlon.

When you select your sport you’re presented with the option to choose a country, followed by a choice of the specific league/event you want to bet on. As you move through each section, ‘home’ and ‘back’ buttons appear at the top of the page. There are also buttons for each section you choose, making it easy to navigate to other areas of the site.

The live betting tab features all the events currently available for in-play betting. Each event page includes a nice graphical presentation of the action, but one slight disappointment is that there is no live streaming. Overall, this is a very slick and well-designed site and one that rivals the top bookies for ease of use.

Features and Betting Markets

LV BET Sports has partnered with BetConstruct to provide live odds for the site. BetConstruct utilises its odds feed service to offer live odds on over 50 sports. Using a proven platform like this means that LV BET is able to offer live odds on a wide variety of sports.

Almost all sports are covered on the site, and the depth of coverage is very good. Football betting is not just restricted to the top events, with lower leagues and worldwide leagues amply represented. You can find non-league football in England, or Premier League matches from Bahrain and Bangladesh.

The vast majority of betting markets are covered, including Asian handicaps, scores betting and stats betting. English Premier League matches have around 170 different markets per game, which compares favourably with the big sports bookmakers.

When selections are added to the betslip it gives you the easy choice of placing singles, accumulators, or system bets. The layout is great, and this is another area where you can see the thought that has gone into the design.

LV BET Sports accept most major payment methods and does not charge you to deposit to your account.

Minimum deposit is €10, and the maximum is €5000. The company says it aims to approve withdrawal requests within 24 hours, but funds may still take 3-5 working days to clear, depending on the withdrawal method. You are allowed one free withdrawal every week, but any extra withdrawals during the same week are charged a flat fee of €5.

As far as customer service goes, LV BET provides a professional service via email, live chat and telephone. The phone line is not free and may be charged at local rates, which is a touch disappointing.

Customer service is also only open during the hours of 8.00am to 9.00pm, with restricted hours if you want to speak to someone in German, Swedish, Slovak, Czech or Russian.

Emails are usually answered within 24 hours and there is a very large FAQ section on the website which answers almost all queries.

Final Verdict

LV BET Sports is a new bookmaker which is quickly earning a big reputation, and there are positive signs that it can challenge the big names. The range of sports and markets is great and the website is slick and stylish on mobile and desktop.

The only disappointing aspect is the lack of horse racing. From a customer perspective, 24/7 support and faster withdrawals would boost our rating for the site even higher.
