The landing page is heavily populated with graphics, links, colours and banners – a little bit of sensory overload. The bookie is a little more settled and uses an orange, purple, black and white colour scheme. The text is modern and the graphics well designed.

All of the countries and their individual leagues/competition automatically expand, which is a little unnecessary and creates a long page – it would make more sense if users could just expand each link manually.

TonyBet currently has a moderate to middling 18 different sports on offer, with basketball and football as their flag bearers. Basketball is actually listed above football, which is unusual.
Customers can indulge in basketball action from 14 different European countries; the Baltic BBL, the Euroleague, Argentinian games and of course all of the college and NBA fixtures in the USA.
The odds for each game are presented similar to that of an Asian bookmaker – there are 1X2, Asian handicap and total points markets on display. The depth of the basketball markets is impressive, with 50+ extra bet types for the bigger European leagues and 40+ for the NBA. These include a range of different handicaps and totals and individual team totals.

The football section provided by TonyBet sports isn’t as expansive as that of the majority of established bookmakers. There are odds for games from 24 countries around the world (and European and international competition), but none of the smaller footballing nations has matches priced up.
The English action only extends as far down as League Two – TonyBet appears to show no interest in providing odds for any non-league games. The number of additional bet types for each game is moderate – 48 hours out from English Premier League matches, there were just 9 extra bets, which compares poorly with most reputable firms who offer 70+.
The tennis markets for big tournaments such as the Miami Open are decent. On top of the win market, there are typically 60+ extra bet types, including correct score, handicaps, first set winner, tie-breaks, etc.
Bonuses
There are a range of offers at TonyBet relating to slots, poker and casino games if that’s your thing, but the sports bonuses are limited.
Regular weekend football offers include the chance to win small free bets if you wager on certain markets. The sign-up bonus is 100% up to €100 for new customers, but is currently not available for UK players.
TonyBet sports will match 100% of your initial deposit up to €100 when you open an account and use the code: SQUAD100. To claim the full bonus you would need to deposit €100, and the bonus amount must be wagered ten times over at odds of at least 1.60 before bonus funds become available for withdrawal.
SBO Verdict
TonyBet is a solid, if not spectacular, bookie. The range of markets and depth of coverage leaves a little to be desired but the welcome bonus is good, the site is available in a number of languages, and it has great coverage of Basketball if that’s your sport.
