Big Bet World Summary
Big Bet World bookmaker was founded back in 2014 and is operated by M-Hub Gaming Operations Ltd. This relatively new bookmaker is licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) and operate out of the country (a hot bed for online bookmakers). Despite hanging their license in Malta, the company have put their focus on the German market.
Why is this? Do the sports on offer reflect those popular with German bettors? We review all aspects of Big Bet World’s bookie and offer advice to bettors as to whether they should open an account with the firm.

Website
Big Bet World’s website encompasses the whole of the screen – they utilise the space very well. A black, grey and blue theme is incorporated and the common three column layout is adopted, with the list of sports down the left hand side of the page, live and upcoming events in the centre of the page and the bet slip and promotions on the right. There is a cool search bar to access bets directly, and customers can also search for their bets by time by using a sliding scale. There is also a strong statistics section (powered by BetRadar), which enables clients to make more informed betting decisions.
Juicy Sign Up Bonuses
Big Bet World offer the conventional sign up bonus to their bookie customers. They offer up to 100% first bonus up to €100. All customers have to do is open an account, deposit and then they will receive their bonus. The rollover requirements are reasonable – 3x (deposit + bonus), so for the maximum bonus, customers would have to turn over €600.
They also have a concession called the Superpay Bonus. Big Bet World bookmaker basically reward customers for placing accumulators – the larger the better. The promotion states ‘80% bonus!’ which is actually a little misleading. In reality, winning bets with 4 selections in get rewarded with just 2%. The bonus increases on a sliding scale up to 80%, when customers reach 20 selections in their bet slip. Obviously very few people will ever pick 20 selections, and the odds are very significantly in the bookmaker’s favour (the more selections, the less value the bets offer due to inbuilt margins into each bet). All selections must have minimum odds of 1.20.
Sports Markets & Odds
Some call it specialist, some call it poorly populated – we are referring to the number of sports on offer at Big Bet World. Customers have the option of picking from just 12 different sports – the industry average is somewhere in the low 20’s. Football, tennis, ice hockey, basketball, volleyball, handball, bandy, boxing, cricket, darts, rugby and snooker make up the list of different disciplines – quite Eurocentric indeed.
The football odds are competitive, but do vary from game to game. Being a German facing firm, the emphasis is naturally on the Bundesliga. Matches typically compiled to between 103.8-105% which is better than average for the industry. Big Bet World bookmaker also provides a tonne of additional bets, with emphasis on the different Asian handicap lines.
Coverage of handball is decent, with odds for matches from 7 different countries around the world. Naturally the odds are a little less competitive than of those for football, working out to 108-109% books, but industry wide, those odds are competitive. Bandy lovers will find the matches compiled to around 110% and the increasingly popular game of floorball works out to around the same. For these niche sports, there are rarely any additional markets on top of the 1X2 fayre.

The site lists the three main avenues for contact covered; phone, live chat and e-mail. Bettors can speak with customer support via the online chat function which is located at the top right corner of the website. The e-mail address is support@bigbetworld.com and for those individuals who want to speak over the phone, the Maltese number is +356 277 613 13 and the German number is +498 001 844 680
There is an FAQ section which is subdivided into four areas – Account, Deposit, Withdrawal and Balance. Customers can find answers to a number of their concerns in this area. Furthermore, Big Bet World do provide a Help section which catches most of the questions that may be missed by the FAQ’s.
Betting On The Move
Big Bet World haven’t yet invested in a downloadable mobile app, but like many firms, they do have a mobile optimised website that works on Android, Windows and iOS. Both pre-match and live betting can be viewed in real time, the website is available in English and German and there is an integrated cashier with the latest security standards.
Upon landing on the mobile site, customers are greeted with the list of all the available sports on offer. Each sport is accompanied with a high resolution icon which gives the bettor a clue on what the event entails (albeit they should already know!). There is a useful search bar, so bettors can quickly type in their desired team/player and access the relevant markets immediately.
Verdict
Big Bet World bookmaker definitely does plenty wrong – they only offer 12 sports to bet on, and only provide their services to residents of Germany. They also do some stuff right – strong football odds and extensive Asian handicap markets for bettors. The staff seem friendly and knowledgeable and although there are only a limited number of sports, Big Bet World have included all of those that are popular in Europe. If you live in Germany, then opening a Big Bet World account could be a good idea.
